Delete Your Account

Booqly (“we”, “our”, or “us”) — developed by PoznaLabs — gives you full control over your account. This page explains how to permanently delete your Booqly account and what happens to your data when you do.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

You can delete your account at any time directly from the Booqly app:

1. Open the Booqly app on your device
2. Sign in with your account
3. Go to the Settings tab (bottom navigation)
4. Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete Account
5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Once confirmed, your account is signed out immediately and queued for permanent deletion.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app (for example, you uninstalled it or lost device access), send a deletion request to booqlyapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Booqly account. Include the subject line “Delete my Booqly account”. We will verify your identity and process the request within 7 business days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your profile (name, email, profile photo, salon name, profession, currency, language)
• All client records you created (names, phone numbers, emails, photos, notes)
• All appointment records (past and upcoming)
• All financial records (income, expenses, service prices)
• Uploaded files (profile photos, client photos)
• Authentication credentials and active sessions

What data is retained (and why)

For legal, security, and fraud-prevention reasons, a limited set of data may be retained after account deletion:

• Anonymized crash and diagnostic logs — kept up to 90 days, no longer linked to your identity
• Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics — used to improve the app, no personal identifiers retained
• Records required by law — for example, if you issued invoices through Booqly, certain financial records may be retained as required by applicable tax law

Deletion timeline

Your account and personal data are removed from our active systems immediately upon deletion. Backup copies are purged within 30 days. After that period, no personally identifiable data remains in our systems.
