Privacy Policy

Booqly (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a scheduling and business management application for independent professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Who We Are

Booqly is developed and operated by PoznaLabs, based in Serbia. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at booqlyapp@gmail.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data that is necessary to provide the service:

Account data

• Email address (used for authentication)
• Full name
• Profile photo or salon logo (uploaded by you, optional)
• Salon or business name (optional)
• Profession type and active services
• Preferred currency and language

Business data (entered by you)

• Client records: name, phone number, email, Instagram handle, notes, and photos
• Appointment records: date, time, services, status, and notes
• Financial records: income per appointment, expenses, and service prices
• Bank account number (used solely for generating local QR payment codes — stored only on your device and in your account)

Technical data

• Device type and operating system (for crash reporting and compatibility)
• Push notification token (for appointment reminders, if enabled)
• App usage logs (errors only, no behavior tracking)

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the Booqly service
• To authenticate your account securely
• To sync your data across devices
• To send push notifications for appointment reminders (only if you enable this)
• To diagnose technical issues and improve the app

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to third parties. We do not display ads in the app.

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU region). Access to your data is protected by Row Level Security — each user can only access their own data. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Uploaded images (profile photos, salon logos, client photos) are stored in Supabase Storage with private access controls.

5. Third-Party Services

Booqly uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (Privacy Policy)
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in via Google account (Privacy Policy)
• Apple Sign In — optional sign-in via Apple ID (Privacy Policy)
• Expo / React Native — app framework and push notification delivery

These services may process your data as described in their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (profile, clients, appointments, financial records, and uploaded files) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correction — update or correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — export your client and appointment data in CSV format (available in app Settings)
• Withdraw consent — disable push notifications at any time in app Settings or device settings

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at booqlyapp@gmail.com. You can also delete your account directly from the app under Settings → Delete Account.

8. Children's Privacy

Booqly is intended for use by adults and professional service providers only. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
